Casual clothing is usually made from fabrics with a high cotton content. And currently, for sustainability reasons, it is being produced from organic cotton.
Technical garments are usually made of polyester or polyamide. Basic garments are typically made of 100% polyester or polyamide, while more technical garments often incorporate a blend of other fibers.
The other fibers that are mixed are:
Spandex, elastane, Lycra… to give elasticity to the fabric. They usually make up less than 20% of the fabric composition.
Nike DriFit, Adidas Aeroready, Under Armour has Iso-Chill fabric… And they all provide breathability to garments to make them cooler.
