Runners Home Exchange (RunnersHEx) is launched, the first platform in Spain that connects local runners with runners traveling to races, offering authentic accommodation and shared experiences at no cost. A pioneering initiative that has already been recognized in the recent call for the CEEI “INCIBE Emprende” Incubation Program with second place for its innovative and transformative nature in the field of sports tourism.
The proposal is simple but powerful: “Connect, travel, run”. The platform allows runners to stay in the homes of other host runners, live with them, and thus gain local advice about the race and location from those who know it best. Share a sports experience in the most authentic, sustainable, and economical way possible. In return, each time someone acts as a Host and many other actions such as adding races... they earn redeemable points to stay in other races they are interested in as a guest.
Simple and intuitive operation:
- Create your profile and verify it. This is only done the first time but is mandatory for everyone. RunnerHEx is a safe community. And then publish attractive races in your area where you can be a host.
- Find your next race and request accommodation as a Guest. Exchanges are managed securely within the platform. Once the Guest and Host match, they begin to manage everything through a private internal chat.
- Enjoy a runner community, based on mutual trust between hosts and guests through ratings and reviews. Access authentic experiences and an active, human, and sustainable tourism model.
