What is it?

The Alcoy City Charity Trail is a mountain running race that takes place in the city of Alcoy, in the Valencian Community, Spain. This event is organized by the Mountain Sports Club.

Purpose of the Alcoy City Trail

This event has a charitable purpose and was born with the intention of raising funds for the fight against cancer. Over the years, the Alcoy City Charity Trail has become a social phenomenon, attracting more than 2,000 participants willing to face the difficulties of the route. In addition, the organization has managed to raise over 200,000 euros for this noble cause. A scholarship for young researchers has also been created, and a national congress of cancer researchers has been held in the city, with seven editions already completed.
