Upper of the Nike Zegama

The upper of the shoes is made of a lightweight and breathable engineered mesh that is stronger and more flexible than traditional meshes. This resistance can be perfectly appreciated in the heel area.

In the area around the ankle, there is a gaiter-type protection that prevents dirt from entering.

There is also a protective elastic leather reinforcement in the toe box for greater durability.

Midsole of the Nike Zegama

It features the same foam as Nike's fastest shoes, as it is Nike's lightest foam and also provides the most reactive cushioning.

This cushioning is designed to maximize speed in every stride. The ZoomX technological foam achieves this, helping you and making it easier to run fast. You will also notice great cushioning, softness, and energy return. And most importantly, you will continue to feel it after many kilometers.

The stack heights are 37mm at the heel and 33mm at the forefoot. So the drop is 4mm, which, as we have already mentioned, will allow you to go fast.

The midsole creates that great comfort, responsiveness, and agility for mountain running.

Outsole of the Nike Zegama

Outsole with multi-directional lugs, ideal for good grip on rocky areas, wet terrain, or even mud. Additionally, the rubber wraps around the forefoot to help resist abrasion and provide more durability.

The lugs are 4mm high. A deeper and more diverse pattern, highlighted with ample spacing, provides traction on more technical terrain.

Finally, we will say that the Nike ZoomX Zegama have a price in the mid-to-high range segment, within the maximalist category that is gaining traction in trail running, having already taken hold in road running.
