For a few months now, there has been a great revolution in carbon-plated shoes, with brands launching new and completely innovative models and versions.
The Hoka Rocket X 2 has arrived to change the game in the world of running! The new version of these running shoes has been completely redesigned and improved to offer unprecedented performance in long-distance races.
Main features
As can be seen at first glance, this 2.0 version of the Rocket X is completely renewed, making it even faster and more dynamic.
The first major improvement you'll notice in the Hoka Rocket X 2 is its new outsole. This outsole has been designed with Durabrasion Rubber in strategic areas to provide exceptional traction and greater grip in all weather and terrain conditions, making it a very versatile running shoe.
They have remastered the geometry of its carbon fiber plate, which is integrated between two layers of PROFLY-X. The top foam layer has a softer feel, while the bottom layer offers greater rebound and stability.
The upper of the Hoka Rocket X 2 has also been designed to offer a more comfortable and secure fit, as it features an engineered synthetic mesh made of a breathable and lightweight material that adapts perfectly to the foot to prevent any rubbing or discomfort. This support is accentuated by the added reinforcements in the midfoot area. In addition, the laces are made from recycled polyester.
This model is unisex and weighs 236 g. The stack heights of this version have increased compared to the previous version, reaching 36 mm at the heel and 31 mm at the forefoot. All of this gives the Hoka Rocket X 2 a 5 mm drop.

Differences between Hoka Rocket X 2, Rocket X and Carbon X 3
The Rocket X 2 and Carbon X 3 are high-quality running shoes.
What are the differences between them?
The main difference can be seen in the shoe's foam. The Hoka Rocket X 2 has a bit more foam in its midsole, which makes the shoe a little heavier than other models of the brand. The stack heights of this new version increase from 30 mm and 25 mm (for both Rocket X and Carbon X 3) to 36 mm and 31 mm. They also go from a carbon fiber plate to a hollowed-out carbon fiber plate.
