GEL NIMBUS 25, ASICS' maximum cushioning shoe
On February 1st, the Japanese brand's maximum cushioning shoe, the Asics Gel Nimbus 25, will be launched. This version comes with a radical change from its predecessor, both in terms of its silhouette and its technology.

The Asics Gel Nimbus 25 comes with a maximalist design and aims to become the most comfortable training shoe on the market.
The Gel, which was visible and so characteristic of Asics in previous models, disappears and is replaced by PureGel. This is located in the heel area and is a softer compound that will provide a softer stride and faster transitions.
To the above compound, we must add the main material of the midsole, FlyteFoam Blast+ ECO. This material can be found in the front part of the model and is characterized by being light and having that touch of reactivity, which, even being a maximum cushioning shoe, is always desired. It is 15% lighter, 15% softer, has 12% more rebound, and is made with at least 20% bio-based compounds.
The tongue is made of Knit, which makes it fit perfectly to the midfoot area and reduces the weight of the shoe.
For the upper, Jacquard mesh has been used, offering great comfort to the foot. Although the collar of the shoe is sock-shaped, the Achilles area has been padded.
These shoes feature an outsole made with their AHAR rubber compound, offering greater durability and grip on the surface.
They have completely renewed the design of the model, streamlining it and giving it a more racing touch.
The new Asics Gel Nimbus 25 has an 8 mm drop and weighs 289 g for a men's 9 US.
