Each 80g gel provides 55g of carbohydrates and 250mg of sodium. In the 44g XS format, it provides 30g of carbohydrates and 140mg of sodium.

This formulation, based on multi-transportable carbohydrates, has been shown in various studies* to facilitate absorption in the intestine through different transporters. This characteristic represents an effective mechanism for increasing the assimilation and oxidation rate of exogenous carbohydrates above 60g per hour*.

For this purpose, research confirms that it is highly recommended to combine carbohydrate sources such as maltodextrin and fructose.

MALTODEXTRIN:

Unlike glucose, it needs to be broken down, which translates into a more gradual and sustained energy source.

It has a high glycemic index, achieving a rapid increase in blood glucose without necessarily providing an excessively sweet taste that could end up saturating us in this type of product.
