The Hoka Cielo X1 have been designed purely for competition, shoes to beat your own records.

Characteristics

For the midsole they have used two layers of PEBA and between this they have included a carbon fiber plate with reinforcement. Which will give us a reactive, stable shoe with great propulsion. To lighten weight they have removed material from the sole.
These Cielo X1 have a fairly pronounced rocker, so we will have much more fluid transitions.
Minimalist rubber sole, to relieve weight and obtain great traction.
Knitted upper and tongue, thus giving you very good breathability and support to the foot.
