Description of the new adidas Boston 11

The Boston 11 is a universal reference in terms of mixed shoes, in fact they are considered the total mixed shoe. Now, in this 10 version they have a very maximalist and somewhat retro look.

If you look at the outsole, you can see three black pieces. They are the Energy Rods. Carbon rods that give that fantastic reactivity to the shoes.

They are made for the lightest and fastest runners. Who are looking for reactivity, lively rhythms, lightness... And now with a little more cushioning than usual.

This cushioning is more generous than in previous versions and does not detract from reactivity or fast paces in running.

Adizero Boston 11 is for runners and athletes with good running technique or those who run with metatarsal entry. Lighter weight runners up to 80 kg will get the most out of it, especially over longer distances.

Those who have tried them say that they provide a stable stride, an aspect that many runners take into account.

Main new features of the adidas Boston 11

Upper is mainly Engineered Mesh.  And it has also undergone remodelling that evokes a retro running aesthetic thanks to the classic suede reinforcement in the toe cap.  We suppose that it will be to give an extra fit in that area to allow you to demand 100% from the shoes.

Midsole

Midsole consists of two overlapping layers of Lightstrike (bottom layer) and Lightstrike Pro (top layer).  When you put them together you feel light cushioning with optimal energy return with every step.

These two technologies can be seen perfectly in two different pieces.   In addition the name Lightstrike Pro is written on the upper.  The sensations of footstep that they provide are different from the BOOST, and the fact that it is lighter, it is more suitable to accelerate the pace at any moment, obtaining a greater response.

Lightstrike is a thermoplastic polyurethane compound, which does not expand as much as the Boost beads, but it is very reactive. It is also one of the lightest foams on the market (36% lighter than Boost).

The fact that there is no boost in the midsole is something that will surprise some people.  Because the Lightstrike is lighter and more reactive.

The outsole is made of Continental Rubber compound under the forefoot to give you the best traction.  The different cuts create grooves for total grip and phenomenal traction.

Sustainability

The Boston 11 is a sustainable shoe made from Primegreen, a high-performance recycled material.
